Who Am I?

Well, I'm a composer, conductor, arranger, pianist, do-er of all things audio, and whatever else keeps people from saying "Hey, when do I get paid?" I now live and love Oklahoma City, because really, music can now be done from anywhere thanks to this cool new found thing called the internet. I especially love scoring film projects with directors via iChat! You people in LA need to look into this. I'm a husband, father, brother, son, worship leader, and rabid fan of "The Amazing Race."

I grew up in the music industry in Nashville, started playing piano at the age of 5 and composing music for commercials at the age of 16. Immediately after seeing Raiders of the Lost Ark, I knew music, particularly film scoring, was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. After attending college at the DePaul University School of Music, I won the BMI Pete Carpenter Fellowship, and went out to LA and worked with Mike Post, legendary TV composer. At the time, I had the good fortune to become friends and work with Danny Lux (Grey's Anatomy) and Christophe Beck (Red). While I loved scoring, raising a family was more important, so I moved back east and eventually settled here in the middle of the country, where you can get a house for about the price of some LA sushi. Please check out clips from some of my latest films and commercials while you're here. You can also hear a ton of music on my audio player. Have fun!
